The Joy of January

The New Year brings with it the promise of the 110th Congress. Already hard at work with the 100 hours agenda. Soon many people will (for some maybe already have) run head long into the folly of overly ambitious resolutions. Two of the joys of this season will greet me simultaneously. As I am Typing on a Mac you might guess that I wait with bated breath for what the great Steve Jobs reputed back dater of stock options, resplendent in his black mock turtleneck, jeans and sneakers, will reveal to us at MacWorld. Far from the Moscone Center in San Francisco, on the banks of the Detroit River, at the COBO Conference/Exhibition Center in Detroit MI car companies will show us their wares at the North American International Auto Show. We’ll see if they learned anything about mileage.
